NAME

GOB - creates an interactive mouth (gob hole) into which data for attached payload pipeline is is put

 

SYNOPSIS

gob [ -usage | -help ][ -verbose ][ -hole gob hole FIFO name ] >& <log file>

 

DESCRIPTION

gob(1) is an interactive filter which poll the specified gob hole FIFO for data. When data is placed into the gob hole FIFO gob(1) reads the data from the FIFO and writes it to downstream processes attached to the gob(1) filter via standard output.

 

OPTIONS

-usage | -help display help and copyright information for the tas(1) filter.

-verbose log error/status information to standard output.

-hole gob hole FIFO name specifies the name of the mouth (gob hole) FIFO for this instance of gob(1)
