Q What does the full manual contain?

A The manual contains step by step instructions on how to install our coLinux. It also has a section for de-installation should you ever need to and for completeness a section on repairs ie. how to do a restart.

Q Why is the manual so big?

A Our manual is very comprehensive containing sections on installation, de-installation and repairs. But the main reason our manual is so big is that we feel that very often manuals miss out essential steps so we have decided to include all steps, no matter how small, in full pictorial format.

Q Do I have to be an expert in order to install it?

A Not at all - it has been specifically designed to be installed by people with average knowledge.

Q What if I want to remove it from a machine?

A Our manual contains a section on de-installing our coLinux. Just follow the steps contained within it.

Q What specification is needed on my machine to install coLinux?

A For the DVD distribution you need at least 20Gb of free disc space and 512Mb of RAM (6Gb of free disk space and 512 Mb for free SourceForge download. We also recommend that you have a Pentium 3 processor or better: you can run on a lower specification processor but performance will be degraded.

Q How do I decompress the files?

A As we said in the download e-mail you need to have access to WinRAR. If you do not already have this, a free self installing executable is available from this link.

Q Why is this product better than anything else on the market?

A Our distribution supplies you with everything you need: Linux along with full development tools, X Window graphic application and desktop and full internet connectivity tools.
